Why Choose Ink Card Fingerprinting with Us?
At NILE LiveScan, we make the process quick, clean, and easy. Our trained technicians ensure high-quality prints so you can avoid delays and move forward with confidence. Whether you need one card or multiple, we’ve got you covered.
How the Process Works
You bring in a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport). We provide the official FD-258 fingerprint card or work with the card(s) you bring. One of our trained technicians rolls your fingerprints on the card. Once completed, we review the card for accuracy and clarity to reduce the risk of rejection. You take the completed card with you — to mail or submit it to the requesting agency (or we can assist with mailing if needed). In some case, the requesting agency do not want us to return the card to you once we completed.
What’s It For?
FBI Ink Card Fingerprinting is commonly required for: Out-of-state or federal background checks. Professional licensing (medical, legal, real estate, etc.) in states that don’t accept digital Live Scan. Immigration or visa applications. Personal FBI background record requests. Employment with federal agencies or contractors, Farm labors, and teaching abroad.
What Is FBI Ink Card Fingerprinting?
FBI Ink Card Fingerprinting is a traditional method of collecting fingerprints using black ink and a standard fingerprint card, typically the FD-258 form. This method is often used when digital Live Scan submissions are not accepted or available — especially for out-of-state licensing, immigration, adoptions, federal employment, or background checks for agencies outside California.
